Easter Eggs in Project Lazarus ZOMBIES

Project Lazarus ZOMBIES hides a short list of Easter eggs on top of the endless-round loop. They do not replace Juggernog. They do not skip round 50. They do award badges, a joke gun, and one follow-up toy. This page is the toy box. The stamp list with a full combat route is How to Get All Badges. Maps and door prices sit on maps.

There are still no codes that unlock these. The Foam Update (April 1, 2026) added The Maverick to the Mystery Box. Model 1887 Update later moved it from Handgun into the Easter Egg class. Treat it as a box meme that becomes real after Pack-a-Punch.

Cassette tapes

Graduation — When Something Is Gone. Two tapes. Classic spots: classroom next to the stairs (front-left) and the Speed Cola bench. Interact with F. Both tapes play the song and grant the badge. Spawns have moved in past patches; if a bench is empty, sweep every classroom and the nurse wing.

Research — See You In Hell. Four tapes at random set points after you buy the map open. Older tutorials show four specific desks; logitech101 has relocated them before. Open every section, then hunt. You cannot grab a tape behind unbought debris.

Completing the Graduation song path is also the community trigger people cite for The Whizzbanger. Tips videos note you only see that toy if you actually finish the egg, not from a random box luck roll. Do the tapes. Then check the box.

Testing The Maverick Gun In Project Lazarus

The Maverick

A slide-action foam dart revolver with a six-dart cylinder. You prime the slide every shot. Reloads are slow because each dart seats by hand. Base damage on a zombie is a joke — suction darts stick to players and undead and do almost nothing until you punch it.

Pack-a-Punch: Midnight Sun. Darts explode. Kills ignite and chain. After the April 7, 2026 buff, packed splash is actually usable in mid rounds; it is still not Frostbite. Direct impact was raised from 1 to 5 unboxed and packed splash climbed again in Foam v1.0a. Mystery Box only. No wall chalk.

If you roll Maverick before round 10, you can keep it for the badge screenshot and swap. If you roll it at 25, punch it or eat the Joker next spin. Do not Mule-Kick a foam blaster over a wall MP5 unless the squad is already farming clips.

The Whizzbanger

The other Easter egg gun. It is not a standard box weapon. Players who finish the cassette egg report it as the reward toy. Do not burn 10,000 points hunting it instead of wonder weapons. If it shows after the song, treat it like Maverick: fun, punchable, not your round 40 primary.

What is not an Easter egg

Pack-a-Punch, perk machines, the teddy Joker, and power-ups are the core loop, documented on power-ups and points. Game modifiers (Glass, Death, and the rest) live in private-server settings for challenges such as one-hit runs; they are not map eggs. The five-perk trick is patched (May 2020). Anyone selling a “code” for Maverick is lying — see the codes hub.

A clean hunt that does not wipe the lobby

1. Open power. Buy Juggernog if you are past round 6.
2. Sweep tapes with a wall gun. Leave a crawler.
3. Spin the box after round 6 if you still need Frostbite. If Maverick drops, screenshot, punch or swap.
4. Do not train inside the tape room. Graduation library and Research corridors stay the train spots.

April 1 foam darts and two old songs do not change the June 2026 Model 1887 meta. They are why the place still feels like a 2016 CoD map with a developer who hid toys in the desks. Grab the tapes, laugh at the Nerf gun, then put a real barrel back on the train.
