High-Round Strategy for Project Lazarus ZOMBIES

Round 50 badge route: stop camping, run the library, and treat Max Ammo like a scheduled resupply.

High-Round Strategy

The round 50 badge in Project Lazarus ZOMBIES is a stamina check, not a secret boss. The game is released, the lobby caps at six, and exploiters are banned, so the path is a packed wonder weapon, four perks, and a train that holds when 24 zombies are on the map. Zombie count plateaus around round 30: 100 solo, 175 with two, 265 with three to four, 350 with five to six. The 24-alive cap never rises. Health does, which is why camping a Pack-a-Punch closet after 30 dies.

How to train zombies is the footwork. Getting Started is the early spend. This page is the session plan and the loadouts that survive the plateau. Sprint and knife binds are on controls.

What changes at round 30

Before 30 you can brute-force a window with wall ammo and Double Tap. After 30 the round is a conveyor: 24 on the floor, the rest in queue, health still climbing. Round scaling has the curve. Shots that one-tapped on 20 now take magazines, so you have Frostbite or the Ray Gun packed or you are wasting a night.

Camping fails because every window feeds the same closet. A six-player spawn stack looks brave until two people reload and the front row eats five hits through Juggernog. Training fails when someone cuts the loop. One wide circle, one player calling crawlers, everyone else shooting the tail.

Graduation: the library is the run

On the Japanese high school, the upper library is the room. MP5 on the wall, Mule Kick at the back, a column to orbit counterclockwise. Leave the stair door closed if you can. Power should already be on, Pack-a-Punch already fed (see how to Pack-a-Punch), perks already four deep: Juggernog, Double Tap, Speed Cola, Mule Kick (or Quick Revive if the lobby cannot revive).

Do not camp the storage PAP closet (one door) or the nurse Juggernog room (tiny, box spawn). Rotate to the power room only with a crawler alive.

Research: corridors, not the stair closet

The Shenzhen facility wants long halls and the testing chamber, not the 75-second cubby under the stairs. Train a corridor you can see both ends of. Teleporters are an emergency exit; they dump you on a random pad. Hold decontamination only as a last resort and leave for Max Ammo or a down. Geometry is on maps.

Ammo economy: Max Ammo is the schedule

Wall guns refill at the sign. Box guns, including both wonder weapons, refill from Max Ammo, which fills reserves, not the magazine. Reload first, then grab it. Call reload in chat so five other people do not vacuum a half-full mag.

Frostbite’s six-shot mag and the Ray Gun’s splash are the answers after health leaves wall-gun range. Shoot packed trains, not singles, and never dump wonder ammo into a crawler you could knife.

Insta-Kill saves that ammo. For 30 seconds everything dies in one hit, knife included (140 on a knife while IK is up). Swap to the M9 or a wall SMG. If IK lands while you are already shooting Frostbite, stop.

Double Points is for boards and leftover crawlers. Nuclear Bomb clears the floor and pays 400; use the empty map to revive, reload, and punch. Carpenter pays 200 and boards windows. Details sit on power-ups.

Downs, crawlers, and the 45-second clock

Five hits with Juggernog still down you. Bleedout is 45 seconds. Perks wipe, including Mule Kick’s third gun. Leave crawlers on purpose so the round cannot spawn the next 24 while you revive, buy, or divert Research consoles. If two players are down, one holds the crawler and one revives. Killing the last zombie to “finish the round” spawns a fresh 24 on the revive animation.

Session checklist for the round 50 badge

  • Private server if public chaos steals Max Ammo.
  • Graduation library unless you already live on Research teleporters.
  • Keeper packed: Frostbite first, Ray Gun second.
  • Four perks, Jug first after any down.
  • Train, do not camp, after the round 30 count plateau.
  • Reload before every Max Ammo. Pocket the wonder weapon during Insta-Kill.

Round 50 is the same 24 zombies you already kited on 31, just with thicker health and less patience from your ammo counter. If the library circle is sloppy on 35, stop the badge attempt and run a cleaner lobby tomorrow. The badge does not pay extra points, and a stubborn camp in the PAP room will not make the health curve blink.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for perks, Mystery Box pulls, and high-round survival.

Does zombie count keep rising after round 30?

No. Count plateaus around round 30 (100 solo, higher in co-op) with a 24-zombie cap on the map. Health still climbs; see round scaling.

Where should I train on Graduation?

Upper library, around the column, with the MP5 wall buy as ammo. Do not camp Pack-a-Punch. Full loops are in how to train zombies.

How do I not run out of Frostbite ammo?

Reload before Max Ammo, shoot trains not singles, and swap off the wonder weapon during Insta-Kill so knives and wall guns spend the 30 seconds instead.

Can I camp to round 50?

Not after ~30. Twenty-four zombies plus climbing health collapse closets. Train a wide room. Camping the storage PAP room is a wipe.

What loadout is the round 50 default?

Packed Frostbite or Ray Gun, a wall ammo gun on Mule Kick, Juggernog, Double Tap, Speed Cola. Details on loadouts and perks.

Should I kill the last zombie?

Not if someone is down, buying, or walking to Pack-a-Punch. Leave a crawler so the next 24 cannot spawn on the revive.
