Project Lazarus ZOMBIES Weapons Tier List
Wonder guns on top, refillable walls close behind, 2025 lists missing a 2026 shotgun.
This list ranks Project Lazarus: ZOMBIES guns for high rounds, not thumbnail DPS. The place has been live since 28 June 2016, still caps at six players, and still has no codes. You spawn with a Beretta M9. Everything else is a wall buy or a 950-point Mystery Box roll, then a 5,000-point Pack-a-Punch if you want the gun to last.
Be honest about dates. Plenty of “rank every gun” videos, including the one embedded here, were filmed in 2025. The Model 1887 lever-action shotgun landed in June 2026. If a creator never says that name, their shotgun row is unfinished. Honey Badger, Laugo Alien, and RPG-7 were already in the free box by then.
Pair this page with best loadouts for map kits, weapons and the Mystery Box for Joker and Frostbite odds, and how to Pack-a-Punch for the 5,000-point step. Perk synergy sits on the perks tier list. The parent tier list hub explains ammo, RNG, and slot criteria.
S-tier: Frostbite and Pack-a-Punched Ray Gun
Frostbite is a semi-auto freeze revolver, a true wonder weapon, and the rarest fair roll in the box. It does not appear on rounds 1–5. From 6–10 it has a 15 percent chance to even be included in the deck; from 11 onward that inclusion chance is 20 percent, and when it is in the deck it is still about five times rarer than a normal gun. Pack-a-Punch turns it into Absolute Zero. Slowing a train with ice explosions is the reason high-round players burn the box.
Ray Gun is the other wonder. It is a full-auto particle pistol with splash, and it sits in the standard box pool (no round-1–5 ban). Headshots delete through the mid 20s. Pack-a-Punch turns it into Iscariot’s Kiss, which is the S-tier partner to Absolute Zero. Unupgraded Ray Gun is still A/S-borderline; upgraded it is S.
Neither gun refills from a wall. Max Ammo is the only restock. That is why S-tier still needs a backup you can buy ammo for.
A-tier: LMGs, shotguns, Honey Badger
Light machine guns — RPD, M249 SAW, SCAR-HAMR, and the pass-only RPK-74 — win on magazine size and penetration. They eat Double Tap. Reloads are slow, so Speed Cola or a safe train matters. They are box-only except that the RPK needs the AK Expansion.
Shotguns that still matter: Remington 870 (wall, refillable), Benelli M4, M26 MASS, USAS-12, Super-Shorty, TS12, and the 2026 Model 1887. The 1887 hits hard per pellet with fewer pellets and a longer shotgun range. It is box-only. Do not copy a 2025 list that buries “all shotguns” in B as if this gun did not exist.
Honey Badger is the SMG that behaves like a short AR: suppressor, penetration, full-auto, box-only. It is the A-tier runaround gun when you do not want an LMG’s sprint penalty. FAMAE SAF (burst, nasty on paper) and M16A4 (wall burst) can crash A on Double Tap if you hit heads.
Pass A-tier candidates if you own them: AK-12, M4 SOPMOD II, KPOS G2. They do not outrank Frostbite.
B-tier: workhorse walls and special pistols
Wall guns you should actually buy: B93 Raffica (500, burst pistol near Pack-a-Punch on Graduation and up the starter stairs on Research), SKS / M14 (cheap rifles), MP5 and other 1,000-point SMGs, Ranger (500 shotgun). They refill. That is the grade.
Box pistols: Desert Eagle and S&W 500 bully mid rounds; Laugo Alien is a low-recoil suppressed pistol that becomes a cloak toy after Pack-a-Punch. Glock 37 GAP (pass) hits harder than Glock 17 with less mag. These are Insta-Kill dump guns and downed pistols, not train killers.
RPG-7 and other launchers clear a doorway and then starve. Fun, not a plan.
C-tier and the meme eggs
Starting Beretta M9 is a point tool. Pack-a-Punch makes Call of the Void, which is a fun burst void pistol, not S. The Maverick (Nerf) and The Whizzbanger are easter eggs. Unupgraded they are jokes. Midnight Sun (upgraded Maverick) becomes splash darts; still not a Ray Gun.
TEC-9, MAC-10, P90, and most raw SMGs fall off when health goes exponential after round 10. Use them to hold until a better box hit.
Wall versus box, in one paragraph
Wall: refill, known cost, no Joker. Box: 950, Joker refunds and moves the crate, wonder weapons live here, ammo is finite. High-round survivors keep one refillable even after they land S-tier. Burning the box is valid; starving your wall gun to fund the 20th spin is how public lobbies die.
Build the actual two-gun and three-gun kits on best loadouts. If a 2025 ranking buried the Model 1887 because the gun did not exist yet, bump that shotgun up and keep Frostbite on the throne — that June 2026 lever gun changed the A-row, not the wonder-weapon ceiling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for perks, Mystery Box pulls, and high-round survival.
What is the best weapon in Project Lazarus ZOMBIES?
Frostbite, then Pack-a-Punched Ray Gun (Iscariot's Kiss). Both are Mystery Box wonders. Frostbite is the rarer roll.
Is the embedded ranking video complete?
It is a real 2025 all-weapons ranking. The Model 1887 arrived in June 2026, so treat older shotgun placements as outdated.
Should I skip wall guns and only spin the box?
No. Wall ammo is the high-round insurance policy. Box wonders do not refill from a chalk outline.
Do game pass guns break this list?
They add extra A/B options for owners (RPK-74, M4, Glock 37 GAP). They do not replace Frostbite or the Ray Gun.
Where do Maverick and Whizzbanger sit?
Easter-egg C-tier until Pack-a-Punch. Fun pulls, not your round-50 plan. Details on weapons and the Mystery Box.
What should I Pack-a-Punch first?
Whatever wonder you rolled. If you have neither, punch a refillable wall gun or an LMG. The Pack-a-Punch guide covers both maps.
