Project Lazarus ZOMBIES Changelog 2024–2026

This changelog is a working summary of the named Project Lazarus ZOMBIES updates from 2024 through June 2026. It is not a dump of every animation cleanup. It is the spine you need when a box gun feels new, a revive looks different, or a teammate cites a version you have never seen. The place itself dates to June 28, 2016. Online co-op is still six players. There are still no codes. New content is a Mystery Box weapon, a game pass expansion, or a hotfix that changes how perks and Pack-a-Punch behave.

2024 — box guns and the Glock pass

Honey Badger Update (February 29, 2024). The suppressed PDW entered the Mystery Box as a full-auto personal defense weapon. Pack-a-Punch turns it into Careless Mistake with a Stealth Takedown module on the first quarter of the magazine. Lettered follow-ups ran through April 14, 2024, including a Roblox physics hotfix that stopped players and zombies from being flung. Treat February 29 as the content date and April as the stability date.

S&W 500 Update / Glock Expansion (May 1, 2024). The revolver landed in the box the same day the Glock Expansion game pass added the Glock 37 GAP, Glock 47 MOS, and the KPOS G2. If a lobby is arguing about “free Glocks,” they mean this pass, not a code. A small v1.0a cleanup followed on May 3.

ASM Val Update (June 6, 2024). The ASM Val returned the Val name to the box years after the original AS Val was removed. It is an assault rifle with a stealth-style Pack-a-Punch module, not a wonder weapon. The same patch carried a wide animation and balance pass, so older 2023 damage memory is unreliable after this date.

Independence Update (July 4, 2024). The Kentucky Long Rifle entered the box: muzzle-loaded flintlock, huge damage, painful reload. It sits with battle rifles, not snipers, and it is a novelty until Pack-a-Punched. Balance and model work shipped beside it.

Late 2025 — rockets, then Frontier

Rocket Update (October 28, 2025). The RPG-7 joined the Mystery Box as a single-shot anti-tank launcher. Settings and scoreboard menus shipped in the same drop. v1.1 on October 30 fixed upgraded RPG-7 damage and explosion replication. That launcher, not the 2026 shotgun, is what most “new rocket” videos still show — including the clip on the Model 1887 page.

Frontier Update (December 18, 2025). Headliner was the Marlin 30-30 Repeater, plus game modifiers and a broader mobile pass. RPG-7 kept receiving lettered fixes through v1.0e on December 23, 2025 (reserve-ammo eat bug on the upgraded module). When people say “Frontier RPG-7,” they mean this late-2025 window: the rocket was already in, and Frontier spent a week making it safe to actually fire.

2026 — pistol, foam, lever shotgun

Wetwork Update (February 11, 2026). The Laugo Alien pistol arrived with new camos. v1.0a on March 17 buffed its damage, cloak, and movement while cloaked. It is a box pistol with a stealth gimmick, not a round-50 primary.

Foam Update (April 1, 2026). The Maverick foam dart blaster shipped as an April weapon. v1.0a on April 7 buffed dart impact and Pack-a-Punch splash; v1.0b on April 11 cleaned miscellaneous bugs. After Model 1887 v1.0 the Maverick was reclassified as an Easter Egg weapon rather than a standard handgun, which is why it vanished from some wall-buy conversations.

Model 1887 Update (June 10–29, 2026). Current headliner. v1.0 on June 10 added the sawed-off lever shotgun and new revive animations. v1.0a on June 25 buffed pellet damage and Pack-a-Punch values. v1.0b on June 26 fixed a critical revive bug. v1.1 on June 29 added the Creator camo. v1.1a the same day fixed perk-machine logic around Mule Kick when Pack-a-Punch returns guns. How to use this list in a lobby

If a gun is missing from the box, you are not on the patch that added it. If a gun is present but weak, you may be on the day-one letter before a buff — Model 1887 v1.0 versus v1.0a is the clean example. If revives look like the old animation, you are pre-June 10, 2026. If Mule Kick drops a third gun after packing, you want v1.1a.
